Pupil Premium Plus funding is available to pupils from Reception through to Year 11 in state-funded education in England who:
- Are in local authority care in England
- Have been adopted from care in England or Wales
- Left care under a Special Guardianship Order (SGO)
- Left care under a Child Arrangements Order (CAO)
Schools manage the funding they receive, and this guide was put together to support discussions between adoptive parents, foster carers, special guardians and school staff about this funding and how it is used to benefit the cohort of children it is intended for.
